The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) extends its congratulations to Fellow, Mr Grant Rodney, on being awarded an Honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Children’s Anaesthesia and Surgery.
His Majesty King Charles III approved a number of Honorary British awards for foreign nationals in 2025, including Mr Rodney’s, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to paediatric care.
Honorary MBE
Honorary awards are granted to individuals who are not British citizens but whose outstanding achievements and contributions have had a significant impact. Mr Rodney’s recognition highlights his dedication to improving care for paediatric patients and advancing clinical excellence in anaesthesia and surgery.
RCSEd is proud to celebrate this well-deserved honour and extends its sincere thanks to Mr Rodney for his continued contributions to the surgical and wider medical community.
