Research Committee

Research Committee members are responsible for the College’s research strategy, and oversee the scoring panels which score and review the College’s portfolio of Fellowship, Grants and Bursaries.

Through this work, the Research Committee support the next generation of surgeons and clinicians at key stages in their career and aims to raise the profile of research. Furthermore, members of the Research Committee oversee the governance of new grants and awards, seek partnerships with organisations to create a varied research portfolio and administer some Professional Volunteer Appointments.
