The College’s Members of Council come from a range of surgical disciplines and represent the diverse interests across the profession. Members of Council are elected by the breadth of the College membership and serve a five-year term. They are eligible for a second consecutive term of office. A Trainee representative and an SAS representative are also elected to the College’s Council by their respective membership of the College. The Chief Executive also sits on the College Council.
