The Faculty of Surgical Trainers (FST) was created to promote and enhance the role of the surgical trainer. It is first of its kind in the UK and is here to support and develop surgeons in their role as surgical trainers, while promoting and upholding the highest standards of surgical training. 

The Faculty is focused on driving the profile and recognition of surgical education and training and disseminating the message that excellent surgical training means excellent and safe patient care.
