The RCSEd UK & Ireland Dental Clinical Skills Competition Grand Final is back and taking place on Saturday 29 March 2025 at the College campus. This year, the Straumann Group is kindly supporting the competition, ensuring that the 16 final year dental students experience some of the best in dental technology and equipment.
This annual event offers dental students from across the UK and Ireland an opportunity to showcase their dental talents and represent their dental school in a friendly and positive environment. Professor Grant McIntyre, Dean of the Dental Faculty commented on the 2025 competition:
"The Dental Clinical Skills Competition is one of the highlights of the Faculty of Dental Surgery calendar at RCSEd and I am looking forward to meeting the students from the UK and Ireland universities and witnessing their clinical and non-technical expertise being demonstrated throughout the competition this month. The competition also provides a superb and unique networking opportunity for undergraduate students to meet colleagues from all of the universities with long term friendships being made. Let the competition begin."
