Overview
This is the first in a series of webinars focussing on vascular surgery in resource constrained environments. It will cover challenges in managing the escalating global burden of CLTI, with perspectives from both high income and low income settings.
Aims
- To define CLTI and describe diagnosis and prognostic techniques
- To describe ‘best’ practice in CLTI
- To discuss limitations to achieving best practice in HIC and LMIC
- To discuss optimal achievable practice in HIC and LMIC
- To discuss how to start setting up a service for identification and management of CLTI

By the end of this webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Describe and recognise a threatened limb
- Understand the options for investigation in CLTI
- Understand the time critical nature of revascularisation for CLTI
- Recognise the importance of medical managements in addition to surgery.
