The RCSEd-MATCVS Aortic Symposium will be taking place during the 32nd Annual Congress of the ATCSA 2024 and the 24th Annual Scientific Meeting of MATCVS! RCSEd Vice-President Professor Tim Graham will be at the symposium, and there will be a chance to meet experts such as Professor Tirone David, Mr Geoff Tsang and Professor John Chan on the day.
The 3rd RCSEd-MATCVS Aortic symposium is a one-day symposium covering the diagnosis, pathophysiology and management of aortic diseases involving the aortic root, ascending aorta, aorta arch, descending thoracic aorta and abdominal aorta. It will encompass conventional and newer state-of-the-art surgical techniques, as well as current endovascular approaches in managing aneurysms and dissections of the aorta.
The symposium is designed for all surgeons and interventional specialists involving in the managing of aortic diseases, as well as trainees and residents, perfusionists, nurses and all allied health professionals involved in the care of patients with aortic diseases.
The symposium is being held during the 32nd Annual Scientific Congress of the Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of Asia (ATCSA) and the 24th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Malaysian Association for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (MATCVS).
An international faculty of world renown experts in aortic surgery, vascular and endovascular surgeons, as well as interventional radiologists will share their knowledge and experience in managing the common as well as the more complex aortic pathologies which will be encountered in clinical practice, and provide practical solutions in the management of these conditions. In addition to expert lectures, there will also be interactive debates and a meet-the-expert session where participants will have the opportunity to interact and learn from the masters in aortic surgery.
