Overview

This full study day is designed to update Dentists and their extended duties dental team on treatment of multidisciplinary orthodontic /restorative cases. Attendees will experience the management of complex multi-disciplinary orthodontic-restorative cases, from case-assessment through to completion, including how the two teams integrate management and gaining consent, with the main focus on case-based learning.

Aims & Objectives

This course aims to provide all members of the dental team with guidance on: multidisciplinary case assessment - what is needed; diagnosis; formulating a treatment problem list; deciding on treatment aims; treatment planning the multidisciplinary case; treatment delivery; retention and communication and developing your dental team.

Learning Outcomes

After attending this course, delegates will have improved in their ability to: • Explain the importance of collecting case information and thorough assessment before treatment planning • Describe the orthodontic restorative interface • Perform a case assessment, diagnosis, formulation of a treatment problem list • Apply appropriate and predictable treatment delivery • Communicate with colleagues affectively
