Overview
The course will provide prospective candidates of the Part B MOrth in Egypt the opportunity to learn about the process of the exam and discuss contemporary clinical scenarios.
Suitability
Those in an equivalent ST1 to 3 posts in specialist training in Egypt in orthodontics. Years 2 or 3 of specialist training in orthodontics
Event Format
Didactic lectures. Walk through of simulated exam cases and Q&A session.
Event Objectives
-To provide an overview of the process of the Part B Morth examination
-To highlight areas for study and exam preparation for the Part B Morth
-To provide some clinical revision of key clinical case types to support diagnostic and mechanics knowledge.
Learning Outcomes
-To ensure prospective candidates at the MOrth Part B understand the format of the exam.
-To be able to describe key diagnostic information for class II and Class III cases.
-To be able to discuss mechanical principles of key case types found in orthodontics
